Greetings to all. Words of the People has sought further funding, widely, for future gatherings. While awaiting funding, the Tulsa Artist Fellowship will support two small workshops, which are free and open to the public. Because of the broad focus (of “open to all”) the writing workshops are called ‘Writing with our Ancestors’ and focus on Rematriation and ancestral language/s.
Please save the date for these two WTP Specials: Writing with our Ancestors 1, August 11-13, and Writing with our Ancestors 2, October 20-22. Expect an update regarding travel scholarships.
