Words of the People’s Seeding Solidarity Tour is a talk series that discusses repair, trust and solidarity across Turtle Island. The speakers include co-founding artist Chelsea Xuedoin Hicks and Executive Director Claire Maracle, alongside occasional guest panelists like author Kyle T. Mays and Equity and Transformation’s Alonzo Waheed. The work of Rematriation is deep, difficult, and increasingly relevant. It means nurturing, creating, adapting, and healing, it means refusing continued dispossession and a return to Mother Earth and the ways of our ancestors. This talk series highlights the significance of repair within an Indigenous lens and what the application of Rematriation can look like.
